About MOVE Ireland:

MOVE Ireland is committed to addressing domestic violence through the CHOICES Programme, engaging men in group sessions to take accountability for their actions while supporting female partners or ex-partners with safety planning and resources.

Role Overview:

Facilitators will:

  • Conduct assessments and one-to-one sessions.
  • Co-facilitate weekly group sessions with a mixed-gender team.
  • Attend supervision and risk management meetings.
  • Utilize therapeutic and psycho-educational methods to foster behavioural change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessments & One-to-One: Conduct risk/suitability assessments and pre-group sessions (1hours each).
  • Group Work: Weekly preparation, Group session and debriefing.(4 hours in total)
  • Meetings: Participate in clinical supervision, risk management, and team meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Social care qualification or equivalent preferred.
  • Group facilitation experience advantageous.

Training & Support:

  • 10 weeks of online and residential training.
  • Shadowing experienced facilitators.

Remuneration:

  • €25/hour for shadowing and meetings.
  • €37.50/hour post-training for group and one-to-one sessions.
