Full time Childcare Practitioner

Our Centre provides a quality and affordable childcare service to support parents in the local and surrounding area. Our Centre is situated on Mellowes Road, Finglas right next door to the swimming pool and opposite the new Garda station.

We are seeking to employ the above roles with the possibility of an extension.

Qualifications:

• High Scope qualification (preferable)
• FETAC Level 5 Childcare Qualification or above (essential)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a childcare setting. (essential)

Essential qualities include:

• A commitment to provide high quality childcare and education services to children aged between 6months-5 years.
• Strong communications skills.
• Ability to co-operate with a large staff team.
• Ability to plan and implement an age-appropriate curriculum (High scope) linked to Siolta and Aistear frameworks.

Duties include:

• To provide a planned, structured, and age-appropriate activities for the children in our service
• To ensure that the welfare of the children attending the service is paramount.
• To work as part of a team in the delivery of a high-quality service
• To share the day-to-day responsibility for children attending the service, including their physical and developmental care.
