Mounttown Early Years Service are looking for a new Childcare Manager

Location: Mounttown Early Years Service, Meadowlands-Fitzgerald Park, Dun Laoghaire A96KR65

Accountable to: The Board of Management

Hours of work: Monday -Friday , the service is open from 8.30-2pm every day and the children attend 9-1pm. 1 year fixed term contract.

The service is seeking a full or part time manager, depending on Candidates availability.

Requirements:

• QQI Level 7 or above in Childcare preferred Minimum of 3 years managerial experience in a childcare facility
• Excellent leadership skills
• Work well as part of a team
• Good Communication Skills
• Excellent organizational skills

Salary: Salary Scale, based on experience and qualifications, Pro-rata for hours worked.

Main Purpose: 

• The Childcare Manager, in partnership with the Board of Management, is responsible for the governance, management, and Operations (including finance and HR), of Mounttown Early Years' Service.
• To provide good quality childcare and work to support children and families in the service.
• Together, with the Board, they will work to assure the organisation's relevance to all families, the community, and work to be accountable to the organisation's various stakeholders.

All Mounttown Early Years' staff members are required to demonstrate an ability to work honestly, openly, impartially and in accordance with the values of the organisation.
