Position Title: Administrative Support Officer

Location: Cork City

Contract Type: Part-Time or Full-Time (flexible, depending on candidate availability)

Salary range: €28,000 - €32,000

See My Skills is a social enterprise dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities to achieve meaningful employment. Through our flagship Accelerator Programme (for students) and Empowered Programme (for adults), we help participants build confidence, discover meaningful employment opportunities, and thrive in their personal and professional lives.

Role Overview

The Administrative Support Officer will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of See My Skills' daily activities. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about contributing to a mission-driven organisation.

Key Responsibilities

1. General Administration

  • Maintain and organise documentation, files, and records.
  • Manage the organisation’s calendar, including scheduling meetings and coordinating events.
  • Assist with correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and letters.

2. Programme Support

  • Coordinate logistics for the Accelerator and Empowered Programmes, such as booking venues and organising materials.
  • Maintain participant records and track programme progress.
  • Assist with onboarding volunteers, motivational speakers, and partner organisations.

3. Communication and Outreach

  • Respond to inquiries from programme participants, volunteers, and external stakeholders.
  • Support the creation and distribution of newsletters, promotional materials, and updates.
  • Update the organisation’s website and social media with relevant programme and organisational information.

4. Financial Administration

  • Assist in tracking budgets and expenses for programmes and events.
  • Manage invoices and liaise with external service providers as needed.

5. Additional Duties

  • Provide support for grant applications and funding proposals.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve internal systems and processes.
  • Undertake other administrative tasks as required by the leadership team.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in an administrative or similar support role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • High level of attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
