Part-time Finance Officer required

Laois Partnership Company is the local development company for Co. Laois. Based in Portlaoise, we run a number of state and EU funded programmes that aim to promote social inclusion, community and rural development and increase employment and enterprise. As part of our service, we run a number of programmes that focus on social inclusion for those living in disadvantage, work activation programmes and projects that focus on rural development.

This is an exciting time to join our developing organisation and we are seeking to recruit a part-time finance officer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Accounting technician or similar qualification
  • At least two years’ paid experience in a relevant role
  • Knowledge and experience of computerised accounting, banking and payroll packages
  • A good level of ICT literacy including a proven ability to apply technology in the workplace
  • Good team player with solution focused skills
  • An interest in working in the non-profit sector.
