About the Role

As a support worker, you will:

• Be part of a forward-thinking team, facilitating exciting community opportunities and promoting independent living.
• Provide direct support to individuals on the autism spectrum in both community settings and their own homes.
• Offer overnight assistance when needed.
• Attend weekly clinical meetings and provide feedback to the lead consultant clinical psychologist.
• Participate in training on our specialized Low Arousal Approach, equipping you with tools to create supportive environments for managing stress and trauma.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will:

• Be comfortable working independently.
• Have a minimum 2 years experience working with people with disabilities.
• Hold a full, clean driving license.
• Possess a minimum QQI Level 5 in healthcare or equivalent.
• Have a sense of fun and enthusiasm.
