Development Officer

Working with the CEO developing new programmes in Erris and Achill. Designing and implementing strategic work plans for the areas and ensuring the continuing evolution of the programme across various themes.

Working on the development of a Rural Development Programme for the Erris/Achill area and the development a cultural and linguistic programme

Overall responsibility for the administrative and financial running of the local office including the preparation of financial reports for the CEO, Board and Department.

The post will involve some night and weekend work, for which time in lieu will be given.

This position is based in Belmullet.

Key Requirements;

• 3rd Level Qualification in related field.
• Knowledge of local area
• Working knowledge of the Local Development Sector.
