Project Executive (junior to mid-level)

Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Division (Ireland/UK)

The role

The Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Division of Landell Mills provides technical support to a wide range of clients, including some of the world’s largest donors and aid agencies. Our current portfolio of MEL contracts includes monitoring of the European Union’s programmes in Asia and the Pacific, Latin America and the Caribbean; evaluation of UNICEF´s Country Programme in Malaysia; and evaluation of WFP’s Country Strategic Plan for Mali. We are also providing monitoring services for the Asian Development Bank’s humanitarian support in Afghanistan.

Our contracts cover a range of development and humanitarian thematic areas – from food security to human rights. They are mostly implemented through desk-based activities and field missions to countries in which we work. We operate in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese.

We now wish to recruit a Project Executive who will be involved in both project management and business development, with a primary focus on our portfolio of evaluations. This is a busy and varied role, in which you will join a team of eight Project Executives, Researchers and MEL Specialists.

Please see Job Description and Person Specification attached below.

Where you will work

The position will be based either in Ireland (Dublin) or the UK (Trowbridge, Wiltshire). In the UK, there is also the option to work at our Bristol office. We operate a hybrid work from home / office culture but in a new role and with an enhanced team we would expect the candidate to have considerable day-to-day in person contact with the Division team. Limited overseas travel will be required as part of the job.

How to apply

Please submit your CV and cover letter explaining why you wish to be considered for this position via our website. Please state when you may be able to take up the role, and whether you have the right to work in the UK, Ireland or both countries. The deadline for applications is 14th July 2024. Interviews will be carried out on a rolling basis.
