Bray Area Partnership: Videographer (Self-Employed)

Bray Area Partnership wishes to appoint a videographer on a contract basis to assist in the compilation of material and create a video library of a selected range of actions/ programmes and events until end of December 2024

Post: Videographer on self-employed basis

Reporting to: Designated person, Bray Area Partnership (BAP)

Location: Bray and North Wicklow environs.

Contract Period: Up to 40 hours to the end of December 2024 including editing.

Rate of Pay: Half day rate on a self-employed basis

Description of work:

  • Work on briefs issued by Bray Area Partnership to record and edit video snippets, editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting graphics/ still images, adding music, voice over
  • Media management and archiving project media.
  • Compile short video snippets into 3 – 5-minute videos to create stories around a programme/ event.
  • This content must be suitable for use in a variety of settings including: various social media/ twitter, Instagram, BAP website, case studies for submission to funders and as part of general promotion.
  • You will be required to collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to help facilitate the creation of content

Person Specification:

  • Min of 2 years’ experience of video production
  • High proficiency of video production and editing software such as Adobe creative suite, adobe premiere pro, photoshop
  • Highly organised and detail oriented
  • Understanding of the Local Development sector
  • Own transport and full clean driving licence
  • Work to deadline as specified
  • To comply with BAP’s policies and procedures.
  • To work in a manner which positively promotes the aims, objectives and values of the organisation.

A clean driver’s license and the use of a car is essential, travel and subsistence is not provided.
Own insurance required.

Qualifications:

  • A third - level qualification in communications / media / social media / branding / marketing or equivalent professional experience
  • Proven paid experience in a PR / Communications role.
  • Proven ability to manage a demanding and diverse workload.
