TENDER: DEVELOPMENT OF A RESOURCE TO SUPPORT A COMMUNICATIONS MODULE IN FURTHER EDUCATION & TRAINING COURSES (LEVEL 04) IN IRELAND

Saolta is seeking a qualified Consultant to develop a comprehensive resource pack on Communications with a focus on GCE. This resource pack will support the Communications modules in FET courses, specifically for Level 04 in Ireland. Communications modules are often mandatory in many FET courses in Ireland. Therefore, the resource pack aims to enhance the understanding and implementation of GCE principles within communications training for educators and learners and contribute to the development of informed, active, and responsible global citizens through ACE in Ireland.

Scope of Work

The consultant will undertake the following tasks:

•  Review existing literature, resources, and best practices related to GCE and Communications education.
• Develop a structured resource pack that includes:
  • An overview of GCE and its relevance to Level 4 Communications’ learning outcomes.
  • Detailed lesson plans and activities for various topics within communications.
  • Case studies and real-world examples to illustrate GCE principles in communication.
  • Assessment tools and methods for evaluating learners’ understanding and application of GCE in communications.
  • Guidance for educators on integrating the resource pack into their teaching practices.
