Who We Are
Brain Tumour Ireland was founded in 2012 by a small group of people caring for a family member who was sadly lost to a Brain Tumour. As a national organisation our mission is to provide support and up-to-date information to people with brain tumours, their family/friends/carers, as well as to the medical and other relevant professionals. To raise awareness of and promote education about brain tumours and to support research being carried out.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a highly motivated fundraiser who will play an instrumental role in managing our donor relationships, as well as managing the day-to-day administration of new and ongoing fundraising activities. The appointed person will work with our Head of Communications on campaigns such as the BTI Annual Run, Wear A Hat Day, The Women’s Mini-Marathon, Awareness Week and others. The Donor Care & Fundraising Executive will seek fundraising opportunities through grant applications, corporate engagement etc. while ensuring that best practice in fundraising is adhered to at all time.
The Person
We are looking for a warm engaging person with an interest in the charity sector who can hit the ground running drawing on your relevant experience in a similar role. You will be an able and clear communicator who can work as part of a small team as well as independently. You have proven ability to work creatively, are solution focused and passionate about providing a positive experience for all those who raise funds for Brain Tumour Ireland.
