Position: Health Care Assistant (HCA)
Location: Shannon Co Clare
Salary: €16 - €21 per hour (depending on experience and shift times )
Employment Type: /Part-time/Flexible shifts

Are you a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant looking to make a difference in the lives of others? We are seeking committed HCAs to deliver high-quality, person-cantered care. To a person in their own home, must be available to work flexible hours. Guaranteed set hours per week, monthly roster provided and no traveling to and from calls. Work in the same place, caring for one person with other HCA’s for a specified number of hours per week.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support clients with mobility and physical therapy exercises.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding, house work and general care
• Administer medications under supervision.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health and wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Health Care Assistant or relevant healthcare role.
• Health care qualifications preferred but training will be provided
• Valid Manual Handling and Patient Moving & Handling certificates.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
• Full clean driving license (preferred but not essential).

Compliance Requirements:

• Garda Vetting clearance.
• Two professional references.
• Up-to-date immunizations.
• Proof of eligibility to work in Ireland.
