About TASC

TASC is an independent think-tank dedicated to tackling inequality and strengthening democracy by turning research into real-world impact. As a public education charity, TASC focuses on increasing public understanding of social and economic issues, improving working conditions, and promoting climate justice.

About the role

TASC is looking to hire sessional trainers for our Financial Resilience Training (FRT), a programme to support communities, charities and individuals experiencing financial stress or insecurity build their long-term financial resilience and get the most out of their income.

The interactive half-day training focuses on topics including budgeting and saving, managing debt, utility costs, online tools and services, and available financial supports in Ireland.

The sessions will take place in various locations across Ireland throughout 2024 and 2025.

Payment

Payment is made at €300 per session delivered. Mileage costs will be covered.

Job Requirements

  • Experience in delivering training
  • Comfort discussing financial topics including budgeting, saving and debt
  • Good interpersonal skills, with the capacity to work in a multicultural setting
  • Access to own transport
  • Training on content and delivery will be provided.
