Number of Hours: 10 hours(flexible hours) until December 2026
Salary: commensurate with experience

Kildare Traveller Action is inviting Travellers to apply for the role of  Peer Education Support Worker in Athy . The role is funded until 31st December 2026

The role will require the successful candidate to

• Work alongside the Education Coordinator to ensure the Education Research is completed 
• Work with schools to develop appropriate responses 
• Work with Traveller families to support access to Education 
• Develop information for Traveller families on Education supports available 
• Visit families identified for support 
• Attend meetings relevant to the role 
• Participate in KTA/CKLP internal structures as appropriate.
• Represent this peer research project on different fora as appropriate,
• Undertake duties as required by the line management.
