Clondalkin Travellers Development Group is seeking suitable candidates for the post of

Employment Co-Ordinator

This is a full-time post – 35 hours per week. The successful candidate will initially be employed on a 12-month contract, renewed subject to DCEDIY funding. This post is subject to a 5 point scale ranging from €41,000 to €50,300 with 5% employer pension contribution.

A detailed role description is available. Employment Co-Ordinator’s are key drivers and champions in the organisation’s efforts to ensure people are supported to engage in appropriate training and to progress into employment or self-employment.

Job Purpose:

The Employment Coordinator will be responsible for guiding and supporting local Travellers to realise their employment ambitions. They will be responsible for assisting members of the community to develop progression plans and to support these individuals through their education and training journey and for providing support in the early months of employment.

The Employment Coordinator will also be responsible for creating training/employment/internship opportunities for local Travellers at the same time as engaging with and managing relationships with local employers.
