Care Assistant

Abode wishes to recruit a Care Assistant on a 4 month Fixed Term Contract. The role involves working with people with physical and sensory disabilities at the Abode facility on the Skehard Road, Blackrock, Cork City.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Diploma/Degree in Care Work or equivalent
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A knowledge of HIQA standards

The closing date for applications is the 22nd of November. References will be required and offer of employment will be contingent on Garda Vetting.
