Threshold is a national Housing charity, founded in 1978, with regional advice centres in Dublin, Cork Limerick and Galway. Threshold provides frontline advice, advocacy, and support services to those facing housing problems in Ireland with over 75,000 calls annually.

There are currently two openings for Housing Advisor positions in our Southern region. The successful candidates will be fully trained and will join a supportive and experienced team, committed to preventing homelessness across Ireland. Our ideal candidate will be empathetic, diligent and have a commitment to securing housing rights for those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. You will have strong problem solving skills and an ability to multi-task and balance competing priorities.

Positions: Housing Advisor x 2 - Cork 

Location: Hybrid working with some in person attendance required.

Reports to: Assistant Manager/Manager

Hours: The position is full time (37.5 hours per week) and while the office is open from Monday-Friday 9.00am-5.30pm the service operates from 9am to 9pm.

Holidays 22 Days plus additional time off over the Christmas period and public holidays
