Family Link Worker

Part-Time (17.5 hours a week) position.

Sligo Springboard Family Support Service was established in 1996. The company is a needs led professional family support service providing a range of accessible, integrated services and programmes for families, parents, young people, and children as needed.

Sligo Springboard Family Support Service aims to empower and support children and families to reach their full potential through our childcare and family support service.

Details of initiative

Tusla and Sligo Springboard Family Support Service have committed to working together with Traveller communities in County Sligo to implement a Parents Programme to support parents from the Traveller Community in a culturally adapted Parent Plus Early Years Programme, and to encourage attendance at these programmes.

Essential to the post:

• Recognised 3rd level qualification in Social Care / Family Support or other relevant fields.
• A good knowledge of Family Support and Community Development.
• Access to transport and full clean driving licence. 
• Garda Vetting will apply.
