Job Title: One Town One Voice Project Coordinator

Location: 

Offices of the FRC National Forum, Castlegar/Ballinfoile Neighbourhood Centre, Headford Road, Galway with possibility for remote working based on an agreed approach to hybrid working.

Terms:

This position is part-time role of 20 hours per week. The salary is aligned to the March 2023 Health Sector, Clerical Officer Grade 5 Salary Scale. This is a one-year fixed term contract initially, but with a possibility of renewal on a multi-annual basis, subject to funding. The contract is subject to a 6-month probationary period. Increments will be awarded subject to performance appraisal and subject to funding.

Project Background:

The One Town One Voice Community Singing initiative, founded by Graham Clifford of Together Ireland, over twelve months ago, is a Nationwide solidarity through-song-movement which focuses on bringing people together in communities across Ireland, including those who have moved from other countries. It focuses primarily on community integration and using communal singing in a positive, secular, non-political and inclusive way to help people get to know each other, work together and break down barriers.

Summary of the Role: 

The One Town, One Voice Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordination of the implementation of the One Town, One Voice Project in the community and for the development and scale up of the project nationally.
