Essential:

1. Third level qualification in either of the following Early Childhood Studies or Social Care Studies/Social Work, 
   or Primary Education and a minimum of 2 years practical experience working with families and young children, or 5 years practical experience working with children and families in a community setting in a paid capacity.
2. Have experience in:
   1. Working with parents, individually or in groups
   2. Home Visitation
   3. Reporting
   4. Networking
3. Have multi-tasking, time management and excellent communication skills.
4. Hold a clean driving licence and have use of a car for work purposes as there will be significant driving.

Desirable:

1. Experience in delivering home based educational and family support programmes and a good appreciation of family and cultural differences.
2. Parenting/family support
3. Have IT Skills e.g. Word Processing, Power Point, Excel

Criteria may be enhanced to facilitate shortlisting.

Salary: € 32,042.40

This is a regulated post therefore disclosure and Garda Vetting will be required if successful.
