Edenmore Early Education Centre, located on Tonlegee Road, Edenmore, Dublin 5, is a community-based provider of early childhood education and care. Our service serves the local community with targeted supports for families who need family support Edenmore EEC is part funded by Tusla and the DCEIDY.

We are seeking an Early Childhood Preschool Teacher who will work in line with our mission to provide quality early childhood education and care experiences for children and families.

Contract: A 35-hour week contract from 24th February 2025 – July 2025. (Possible full time permanent contract Sept 2025)

Hours of Work: The hours of work will be 8.30am – 3.30pm Monday to Friday (with non-contact time included).

Annual Leave: Annual leave is taken during midterm breaks when Centre is closed.

Required skills and competencies

• A relevant third level qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Minimum 2yrs experience in an Early Education setting
• Experience in curriculum planning and assessment of learning
• Knowledge of National frameworks Aistear and Síolta
• Ability to use initiative, self-motivate and work effectively within a team
• Child Protection training essential
