Youth Advocate Programmes Ireland are recruiting for a panel of Team Leaders to fill posts into 2025 Nationwide

Youth Advocate Programmes Ireland provide unique intensive support programmes, using a strengths based, wrapround approach employing community based advocates leading to positive outcomes for young people and families.

The Team Leader will manage the provision of direct services to clients and their families who are referred to the programme. You will manage a team of community based Advocates and ensure that all clients receive an appropriate and high-quality service. Essential Criteria:

Successful Candidates will have:

• Degree in Advocacy or in the Social Care field: e.g. Youth Work, Community Work, Psychology, Child Psychology, Social Work, Social Science or Social Care
• Have at least 3 years of direct work with children and at least 2 years’ experience of managing and supervising staff/ volunteers in the social care sector.
• Full Clean Driver’s Licence and access to own transport.
