Lifestart Services CLG is a strengths-based home-visiting service, delivering child development information, parenting education, and family support to parents of children pre-birth to 12 years of age across in Donegal. The Service is recruiting 1 Family Visitors to work in the South Central and South areas of Donegal.

Family Visitor

We are seeking to recruit a Family Visitor to deliver the Lifestart Growing Child Programme and other programmes from pre-birth to 12 years of age.

Post: 30 hours per week

Geographic Areas: South Central and South areas of Donegal

The Base for this role is in the Lifestart Services Office, Donegal Town, and/or other Lifestart Services Satellite Offices.

Salary: Aligned to the Social Care Worker PayScale (Pro-rata)

The Lifestart Services Family Visitor will ensure that the ethos, aims, objectives and actions of the organisation are fulfilled in line with service policies, procedures, and guidelines.

The successful candidates will have (essential):

• Third level qualification relevant to the post.
• At least 2 years’ experience of delivering in home support is desirable.
• A clear understanding of referral pathways in Co. Donegal.
• Proven ability to network and work on an interagency basis.
• Excellent IT, Communication and Report Writing Skills.
• A clear understanding of the work of Lifestart Services and maintaining professional boundaries.
• A clean full driver’s licence and use of a car.
