Colden Care is a provider of Residential Care Services for Separated Children Seeking International Protection. Colden Care was established in response to the growing requirements of TUSLA Child & Family Agency to provide safe, regulated, and quality-driven services for these children and young people.

We are delighted to announce that we are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to be part of our Residential Care Service working with young people who are separated from their families and place of origin, seeking international protection. The residential centre is located in Carlow.

We are currently looking for interested applicants for the following positions:

1 x Social Care Manager (PIC)

ESSENTIAL

• Candidates must have a minimum of a Level 8 Degree in Social Care or a Level 7 Degree in Social Care and a management qualification suitable for a Health & Social Care setting.
• Candidates must have at least 4 years’ post-graduate experience in Children’s Residential Care.
• Candidates can alternatively hold a ‘relevant’ qualification with 4 years’ full time work experience in a children’s residential care setting post qualification.

1 x Social Care Leader

ESSENTIAL

• Candidates must have a minimum of a Level 7 Degree in Social Care or equivalent relevant qualification.
• Candidates must have at least 2 years’ postgraduate experience working with children/young persons.

Social Care Workers (Full-time & Relief)

ESSENTIAL

• Candidates must have a minimum of a Level 7 Degree in Social Care.
• Other eligible qualifications include Level 8 Degree in Psychology, Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy, Youth & Community Work, Social Work, Social Science, Teaching or Nursing.
• We are also interested in candidates who have a Level 6 qualification in Social Care or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a Social Care setting for young people.

A full driver’s license and experience of working with displaced children and young people are desirable.

Salaries for all posts will be commensurate with post-qualification experience.
