West Cork Beacon: Psychotherapist - Sexual Violence Service
West Cork Beacon (formerly West Cork Women Against Violence) provides specialised domestic and sexual abuse supports and services throughout West Cork. It operates confidential, non-judgemental supports to women and children experiencing domestic abuse and specialised counselling to both women and men from 14 years upwards who have experienced sexual violence. The organisation operates several innovative projects including a safe house, specialised therapy for children living with domestic abuse and provides training to a range of other agencies and organisations on how support survivors of abuse.
Our services are client-centred which means that our approach is based on their needs. We work to empower our clients and to provide a respectful, trauma informed response to all survivors.
We are currently recruiting for a Psychotherapist for our Sexual Violence Service to join the organisation.
The post is 22.5 hrs per week.
