ECCE Room Leader (Full time)

Blakestown and Mountview NYP Crèche is a community based childcare facility for early years and afterschool children. NYP Creche is a cross community, needs based catering for children aged 2 to 8 years. NYP works to support children and families to reach their full potential in all areas of development, through the implementation of a play based emergent curriculum, while using a partnership approach in assisting, liaising and mediating with other professionals who are supporting the families.

We are recruiting for

• Full time ECCE Room Leader (35 hours per week).
• Applicants desirable qualification-Level 7/8.
• Experience working in a similar role would be desirable, however not essential.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Good working knowledge and experience of working with the Aistear & Siolta programmes.
• Engage in Continuous Professional Development.
• Ability to plan, implement and evaluate childcare programmes.
• Demonstrate a strong teamwork ethic and skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Strong Communication skills [Written, verbal and listening].
• Organisation and administrative skills.
• Analytical and problem solving skills.
• IT skills.

• Rate of pay: above ERO Graduate Lead Educator Rate
