Teach Tearmainn wishes to invite tenders for the development of a 5-year strategic plan for the organisation.
Context
Teach Tearmainn is a non-profit organisation, with charitable status, serving women, with or without children who are in or have been in abusive relationships. We are an evidence based continuous improvement, quality and leadership performance organisation. We ensure we involve and seek the input from the women we serve, the community and our stakeholders always.
Teach Tearmainn is the only specialised dedicated service working to address the issue of domestic violence in County Kildare. Set up in 1999, our dedicated Helpline has been operational since 2000, while our Information & Support service commenced in 2002. Our purpose-built state-of-the-art Women & Children’s Refuge was opened in 2014. Over this period, the organisation has built up a significant body of experience and expertise on the issue of violence against women. Our children and young person’s support service was established in 2018.

Deliverables
Detailed information including the budget, timeframe and report headings are outlined in the project specification in Appendix I in the Tender document attached below..
The deliverables include:
- Desktop and Field Research and analysis
- Stakeholder participation including Funders, service users, Staff and Board of Teach Tearmainn
- Production of draft and final report
- To document and record facilitated sessions, interviews and the contextual review to inform the strategic plan.
- To provide printed and bound copies of the finalised strategic plan, for circulation to our stakeholders.

Timetable
Any queries must be submitted via email to lorrainerowan@teachtearmainn.ie no later than 5pm on Monday 17th February 2025. Queries after this date will not be responded to.
A digital copy of the final tender must be emailed to lorrainerowan@teachtearmainn.ie no later than 5pm Monday 3rd March 2025.
