The Board of Management of NCN seeks to recruit

NCN ASPIRE QUALITY MENTOR 
35 Hours Per Week

Northwest (Sligo, Leitrim & Donegal)

Essential:

  1. Honours Early Childhood Degree, Evidence of in-depth child development training, Train the Trainer Qualification, Evidence of participation in various CPD programmes/opportunities.
  2. Have at least, 3 years’ experience of working with preschool children, 3 years’ experience of managing staff, 3 years supporting/coaching and mentoring staff /services, 3 years’ experience in cross community or inclusion work.
  3. In-depth knowledge of the policy context within which early childhood services are provided in Ireland, In-depth knowledge of the essential requirements for the delivery quality early childhood services.
  4. Have multi-tasking, time management and excellent communication skills.
  5. Hold a clean driving licence and have use of a car for work purposes as there will be significant driving.
  6. Excellent communicator, Proficient in MS Packages e.g. Word, Outlook, Power Point

Desirable:

  1. Post Graduate Qualification in a complementary programme of study.
  2. A working knowledge of skills, abilities, training needs required for quality preschool settings.
  3. Have IT Skills e.g. Excel, SharePoint

Criteria may be enhanced to facilitate shortlisting.

Salary: €35,309

This is a regulated post therefore disclosure and Garda Vetting will be required if successful.
