Behaviour Detectives: Behaviour Therapist / Behaviour Analyst (BCBA)
Due to expansion of our services, Behaviour Detectives is recruiting Behaviour Therapist/ Behaviour Analyst. The role involves supporting individuals with complex needs across the lifespan. An energetic and experienced professional is required to implement leisure, health and vocational/community programmes. You should be familiar with managing behaviours of concern, while focusing on enhancing skills development and facilitating social inclusion programmes to achieve each individual’s personal goals and full potential. Behaviour Therapist / Behaviour Analyst (BCBA)
Job Location: Co. Kildare and Co. Dublin
Contract Type: Permanent Full-time or Part-time Contract
Hours: Hours are based on a timetable and allocated from Monday to Friday
Salary: Behaviour Therapist Scale €33,072 - €39,936; Behaviour Analyst (non-BCBA) Scale €41,000 - €47,000; Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) €48,000 - €54,000

Essential requirements:
- Hold a degree in Psychology/ Social Care/ Nursing or related area
Desirable:
- Hold a Post-Graduate Qualification in Applied Behaviour Analysis or related area/ or be in pursuit of same/ or relevant experience and knowledge of behavioural principles and strategies.
All candidates should:
- Have experience supporting individuals with complex presentation and disability (desirably beyond the age of twelve).
- Experience in utilising the principles of Behaviour Analysis and Positive Behaviour Support.
- Experience in understanding and managing behaviours of concern.
- Experience working in the family home, day service and community settings.
- Confidently be able to lone work, and to work remotely.
- The ability to collect, graph and analyse data.
- Be flexible, enthusiastic and committed.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- In-depth understanding of ethical and professional practices.
- Demonstrate initiative and have experience in programme implementation and development.
- Full EU Licence is necessary. Also, willingness to undertake travel and work flexibly due to the geographic spread of services. A pool car can be made available for an appropriate candidate with a full EU licence.
