Kilmore West Youth Project is looking to recruit a
Full Time Youth Justice Worker (12-17 years)
We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated, creative individuals to apply for the above role. Kilmore West Youth Project (KWYP) is a community-based youth and family service governed by a voluntary Board of Directors. We provide a range of supports and services to meet the needs of young people and families in the area. We work from a strong values base, including equality, empowerment and respect. We have expanded as a service over the last few years and now cover the Belmayne area, with a premise there, which the new staff member will be based. In KWYP we value and support all our employees. We understand that this work can be difficult at times and the issues effecting the participants we work with can be complex, we therefore encourage self-care practices and support one another through teamwork, supervision, check ins and training. There will also be a robust and supportive probation process. We adhere to a pay scale, implement public sector pay rises and yearly increments. Position: Youth Justice Worker
Salary: In line with CDYS Youth Worker scale
Hours: Full time, 35 hrs per week
Reporting To: Belmayne Youth Diversion Project Leader
Starting Date: ASAP
Annual Leave: 23 days
