Nurturing Leadership in Early Years – Action Learning Project
Northside Partnership / Preparing for Life seeks applications from consultants on an innovative project designed to co-explore and co-create leadership dynamics that support best practices in early years education. Using an action research approach, the project will investigate leadership while simultaneously implementing it in practice, building on the Building Big Futures professional development program.
The objective is to establish a co-inquiry group to work towards leadership that supports best practice in creating positive environments for children.
The successful tender will ideally be able to demonstrate the skills as detailed below:
- Knowledge and experience of action research and participatory processes such as co-inquiry (essential)
- Experience generating reports and/or learning resources (essential)
- Experience in facilitating groups and/or communities of practice (essential)
- Knowledge of leadership theory and practice (desirable)
- Familiar with early years settings, the roles and responsibilities of early years staff (desirable)
