Overview of Adamstown Youth and Community Centre (AYCC)

Adamstown Youth and Community Centre (AYCC) opened in 2018. Its’ mission is to be a positive and inclusive focal point for the community by providing a space that promotes educational, recreational and community activities.
The facility comprises of community rooms, a sports hall, a gym and all-weather playing pitches. The sports facilities are shared with the adjoining secondary school, Adamstown Community College.

Overview of Role

The Deputy Community Facilities Manager will report to the Community Facilities Manager and assist in the overall management of operations of the community facility.
As Manager, you will support the management and engagement of clients and activities as well as managing a team of staff. The successful candidate will be the secondary point of contact for the facility and, in line with the AYCC mission, will endeavour to provide a positive focal point for the local community in an inclusive way through the provision of a space which supports the promotion of participation in educational, recreational and community activities, whilst maximising the use of the facility.
As Deputy Manager, you will assist the Manager in ensuring effective maintenance of building and its facilities, including the supervision of contractors and others regarding work carried out in the facility.
