Cork City Partnership is a Local Development Company covering Cork City. The Directors are drawn from the community/voluntary sector, public bodies, local elected representatives, and social partners. The Partnership aims to improve the life chances and opportunities of people who experience the effects of poverty and social exclusion through promoting equality and inclusion for all.
Overall Purpose of Job:
The Caseworker works as part of a multi-disciplinary team which aims to provide guidance and support to jobseekers to enable them to achieve full time employment. The LAES, as part of CCP, works closely with other CCP Programmes and other stakeholders to support long term unemployed and other job seekers with barriers to employment.
Based at an LAES office in Cork City, the initial contract will be issued for 12 months, to include a 6-month probationary period. Subject to funding a further contract may be issued. All contracts are funding dependant. Candidates must demonstrate past experience in providing support to people experiencing unemployment and seeking new skills development.
