Background
Within the next twelve months, the Irish Immigration Service unit within the Department of Justice may wish to engage the services of suitably qualified providers of Cultural Mediation Services.
The mediation services contract/grant agreement, if established, will be available for the use of a number of business units within the immigration service including, but not limited to, the International Protection Office (IPO) in Dublin, the Ukraine Transition Hub in City West, Saggart, Co Dublin, Dublin Airport, and in other regional locations, along with delivering services remotely (Zoom/Webex) where necessary/possible.
The purpose of this RFI is to gather specific market place information and to consider alternative approaches to external service delivery.
If the mediation services contract/grant agreement is established, it is envisaged that services will be delivered by a supplier or suppliers who are external market operator(s).
The Department of Justice may run a competitive procurement process to identify a supplier(s) to deliver Cultural Mediation Services.
As part of this process, the Department of Justice wishes to take market soundings from service providers and identify market capabilities.
