Restorative Justice Services (RJS) is a non-for-profit organisation that works restoratively with people affected by crime. In partnership with our stakeholders, we offer restorative programmes that focus on meeting the needs of victims of crime whilst challenging the behaviour of those who offend.

“Restorative Justice is a victim sensitive response to criminal offending, which, through engagement with those affected by crime, aims to make amends for the harm that has been caused to victims and communities and which facilitates offender rehabilitation and integration into society.” (National Commission on Restorative Justice, 2009)

Service

RJS is now seeking tenders from qualified and experienced clinical supervisors to facilitate group and individual clinical supervision sessions to our employees.

Key Responsibilities

The Clinical Supervisor will:

  • Facilitate one to one and group clinical supervision for our employees
  • Provide services within the code of ethics of IACP/IAHIP or equivalent and which comply with legislation.
  • Provide a professional non-directive, non-judgemental service to our employees
  • Maintain appropriate records in accordance with legislation and information requirements.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience

Essential:

  • Have full accredited Clinical Supervision qualification with a recognised Irish professional body (Unfortunately, we cannot facilitate placement for Clinical Supervision);
  • Have full accreditation from a recognised Irish professional body in the fields of psychotherapy, counselling, clinical or counselling psychology, or mental health;
  • Have a minimum of two years’ recent relevant professional experience of delivering Clinical Supervision (Post-full accreditation);
  • Have a minimum of five years’ recent relevant professional experience – Non-Clinical supervision, for example in psychotherapy, counselling, clinical/counselling psychology, guidance counselling (Post – full accreditation or qualification);
  • Excellent understanding of offending behaviour and impact of crime;
  • Be available to provide the service as per terms and conditions of the contract.

Desirable:

  • General understanding of the Irish Criminal Justice system.

Terms and Conditions

Contract:

  • Initial 1 year contract with 6 month review, including 360 feedback.

Hours:

  • 1 group session per quarter (for up to 6 employees – non managerial) (ZOOM/IN PERSON in our Office in Marshalsea Court, Dublin 8)
  • 1 individual session per quarter for non- managerial employees (ZOOM)
  • 1 individual session - every 6 week - for managerial employees (ZOOM)
    Overall, we can foresee up to 8 of work per quarter.

  • Selection will involve short-listing of applicants for interviews based on information provided as part of the tender application. The short-listing selection criteria are based on the requirements of the contract as outlined in this description. Only short-listed applicants will be contacted.
