Job description
Personal Care Assistant needed to cover Maternity leave
To assist a woman with a disability at home
Hours: Morning/afternoon /evening on weekdays / weekends, times will be split depending on shifts
Location: Shannon, Clare
Salary: €16 per hour
We are looking for a committed person to assist with her daily living needs.
Duties
- Assistance with personal care and domestic needs
- Assistance to appointments and other such tasks
- Social Activities
Qualifications/requirements
- FETAC Level 5 in Health Care or equivalent training or experience
- People Moving and handling experience/ qualification essential
- Must be available to attend mandatory training sessions
- Ability to follow instruction
- Flexible - shifts over a 7 day week
- Evening and weekend hours will be required
- Sociable and good sense of humour
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
Garda Vetting and training must be completed prior to starting
