‘Through the Roof’ tells the story of Maria, a resident of Porto who, on her 36th birthday, faces a shocking rent increase that threatens to leave her and her flatmates homeless. This gripping performance, presented by the Laboratory of Theatre & Politics, examines resistance and solidarity in the face of housing injustice. The audience will grapple with questions of community, action, and what solidarity looks like in a time of crisis.
