The GOAL Mile, proudly supported by AIB, is held throughout December and New Year's Day in villages, towns and cities across Ireland and virtually throughout the world. The event sees tens of thousands of people run or walk a mile to raise funds for GOAL.

The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul launched its Annual Appeal as it expects calls for help will exceed last year’s record of 250,000. This year on the 180th anniversary of the SVP in Ireland the Annual Appeal is focused on providing help and hope to struggling parents who wonder how they will provide a happy Christmas for their families.
