Youth Work Ireland is excited to host a key national event bringing together young disabled advocates, youth workers, representative from the disability and youth work sector along with policy and decision makers. Together, we will share insights, build stronger networks, and contribute to shaping policies and practices to enhance the engagement and inclusion of young people with physical disabilities in our communities.

This national forum is being hosted by Youth Work Ireland’s Access and Inclusion Working Group who have been working to build inclusive pathways and connections to better support young people with physical disabilities in local communities. Over the last year they have ran practical and awareness training, linked in with other disability services and developed advocacy and awareness campaigns to promote youth work as a safe and welcoming space for all.
