Join our Dynamic Volunteering Development Lab at Volunteer Ireland and transform your volunteer programme.

Volunteer Ireland is thrilled to announce our application for a Training Links Grant. This development funding programme empowers the community and voluntary sector to thrive.

Together, we have the chance to create an innovative Training Links Network that addresses shared training goals and skills gaps. To make this vision a reality, we need you - passionate volunteer-involving organisations and Leaders of volunteers - to join us in shaping the future of volunteering.

What’s in it for You?

By becoming part of this transformative network, your Volunteer Involving organisation will engage in an empowering 12-month programme designed to elevate your volunteer programme to new heights. Here’s what you can look forward to:

Dynamic Volunteering Development Labs

Participants will experience three immersive two-day residential labs featuring:

  • Cutting-edge training based on two years of dedicated volunteer research.
  • Hands-on workshops to foster experimentation and innovation with leaders in volunteer engagement from Ireland and overseas
  • Peer-to-peer learning and tailored individual opportunities.

Our focus is on creating flexible, inclusive, and volunteer-centric programmes that align with 21st-century needs, helping your Volunteer Involving Organisation achieve its goals.

No cost, high value

This programme is free (training, food and accommodation are covered). All we ask is for your leaders of volunteers to dedicate their time to this transformative experience.

Who can join?

To join this incredible opportunity, your volunteer involving organisation must:

  • Actively involve volunteers in its work.
  • Commit 2 - 4 staff or volunteers to attend the full programme (7 working days total across one year).
  • Be prepared to embrace change and revitalise your volunteer programme.
  • Have a governance structure in place (e.g., board of directors / trustees, constitution).
  • Be based in the Republic of Ireland who currently actively engages volunteers.
