Saolta: Climate & Environmental Justice (CEJ) Community of Practice Workshop
Join us on Wednesday December 4th 2024 at 12:00 PM at Development Perspectives Offices on the Banks of The Beautiful Boyne for Saolta's inspiring Community of Practice workshop:
Resilience Through Sound: A Mindfulness Approach to Eco-Anxiety and Environmental Action
This in-person gathering is open to all Saolta alumni who are interested in being part of Saolta's Climate & Environmental Justice (CEJ) Community of Practice for Adult & Community Education (ACE) Practitioners
This Winter Workshop will provide Saolta Alumni with the opportunity to relax, share insights, best practices, and to support each other in your journey toward embedding Global Citizenship Education into Adult and Community Education. Don't miss this wonderful opportunity to connect, learn, and grow together!
Guest facilitator Mary Rose Buckley will facilitate a Mindful Sound Journey where she will connect and ground you with a mindfulness practice that will prepare you for a journey of your inner world guided by harmonious sounds. These sounds can have a profound effect on your mind body & soul with the use of instruments such as gongs, singing bowls and other various, beautiful instruments. Maryrose is a social care worker, sound therapist for 10 years and has recently become a mindfulness teacher (registered with @mtai.ie).
Lunch is provided.
Saolta is fully funded by Irish Aid.
