The Retired Civil & Public Servants Association is a not-for-profit organisation serving 7,300 members through meetings, advocacy, and advisory services for older people. It recently set up a Governance, Risk & Oversight Committee to monitor and advise the Council in relation to the financial and administrative affairs of the Association whose income is derived from membership subscriptions and is audited annually.

Membership of the Committee, which meets 3 – 4 times per year, includes a number of external individuals with experience in governance or financial matters. The Council, which meets in Dublin is seeking volunteers – one of whom would preferably be an accountant – to serve on the Committee. For further information, please contact mattmoran2021@gmail.com.
