Women in Research Ireland (WIRI) is a volunteer-run charity based in Dublin, Ireland, and a group member of the National Women's Council of Ireland. WIRI provides a platform for women and members of under-represented groups working in research and academia, with a vision to achieve equitable representation for women and minorities in this area.

WIRI is in the process of recruiting new volunteers, and is looking for people for people working in, or interested in academia and research. This includes lecturers, PhD students, postgraduates and undergraduates from all areas of academia, as well as anyone working in the field of research.

There are ordinary committee member roles available for applicants who want to play a role in the advancement of women and minorities’ representation in research.
