ASIST Training (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) – IICP Tallaght

This two-day training is a two-day skills building workshop in suicide first aid. Participants are trained to reduce the immediate risk of a suicide and increase the support for a person at risk. . The workshop provides opportunities to learn what a person at risk may need from others to keep safe and get more help.

This one-day training is designed to raise awareness for individuals and agencies who seek to understand more about self-harm, the reasons underlying self-harm behaviours and improve upon personal and agency responses to those who self-harm. Training is free and suitable for those age over 18.
