New Wave Wild Project is a clinical adventure therapy non-profit based in Co. Kerry, delivering adventure therapy interventions with young people, adults, and families throughout Ireland. Since launching in 2017 we have noticed a rise in the number of practitioners looking to take their practice outdoors, and to combine their professional work with adventure activities towards therapeutic outcomes.

This year we launched training options suitable for Therapists, Social Workers, Allied Health Professionals, and Outdoor Instructors with a therapeutic focus.

Our Intensive Adventure Therapy Skills Training course offers practitioners and budding adventure therapists the unique opportunity to avail of adventure therapy training here in Ireland.

Course includes:

• 10 hours pre-course content
• 5 consecutive days (40 hrs) in-person training in inspiring blue and green locations
• Refreshments & lunch each day
• Activity & safety gear
• CPD record
• 2 x 1hr follow up consultation calls
• Eligibility to register on our Wild Alliance practitioner network
• Course does not include:
• Accommodation
• Personal outdoor gear
