Postgraduate & Masters Programmes at MU Department of International Development

Join us at the Department of International Development, Maynooth University, on our MA programmes, which start in September 2024 (full- or part-time). These include MA in International Development, and our MA in International Peacebuilding, Security and Development Practice. Through them, participants will critically engage with important contemporary issues and enhance their understanding, knowledge and skills to make a positive difference in the lives of others at personal, local and global levels. We also invite applications for the part-time Certificate in Global Citizenship Education, commencing in September 2024. This one year 20 ECTS postgraduate programme is designed for educators working with learners at all levels - from early childhood to youth, in adult and community education and in schools. Addressing the major global challenges facing our world, it offers participants a unique learning experience and training in GCE, shaped by peer reflection and applied learning.
