The purpose of teaching and learning must evolve in response to the changing nature, challenges and opportunities of our dynamic world. To ensure societal wellbeing we must consider the critical role of teaching and learning to enable individuals, communities and societies to thrive, confront, adapt and remain resilient amid modern challenges. This international, intersectoral and interdisciplinary conference will reflect on current debates, challenges and opportunities to determine how best to invest in teaching and learning to inform future learning policy and practice.

  • Catherine Cronin – Independent scholar focused on critical and social justice approaches in digital, open and higher education. 
  • Selina McCoy – Associate Research Professor in Social Research and joint education research coordinator at the ESRI, and Adjunct Professor at Trinity College Dublin
  • Michael Shevlin – Professor in Inclusive Education and former Director of the internationally renowned and award-winning, Trinity Centre for People with Intellectual Disabilities in Trinity College Dublin.
