Call for Voluntary Board Member

Gateway to Education is seeking to appoint a new voluntary board member to support our ongoing work and future development. We are particularly interested in hearing from individuals who have experience in education, are retired, or have a background in the disability sector.

As a charity committed to improving access to education and empowering individuals through inclusive learning opportunities, we welcome applicants who share our passion and values. This is a voluntary, non-remunerated position.

What we’re looking for:

• Someone with experience in education, disability advocacy, or related fields
• Preferably retired or semi-retired with the time and interest to contribute
• A local individual, as we value strong community ties
• Passionate about educational inclusion and supporting vulnerable learners
• Willing to engage actively with board responsibilities and contribute to strategic planning
