MWRDAF Small Grants 2025

The Mid West Regional Drugs & Alcohol Forum invites applications for once-off Small Grant funding from Community, Cultural, and Voluntary groups that are not eligible for funding from another source. Projects must be based in the Mid-West area (Clare, Limerick City & County and North Tipperary). Applications for grants (min. €500 & max. €2,000) should be directly relevant to the MWRDAF as per the National Drugs Strategy.

Please note due to limited budgets/funding, the MWRDAF will prioritise grants that meet the needs of clients in relation to drug/alcohol issues in accordance with the National Drug Strategy – Reducing Harm Supporting Recovery 2017 -2025.

The funding can be used for the following types of programmes or activities which compliment the aims of the Mid West Regional Drugs & Alcohol Forum:

• Developing and delivery of drug & alcohol programmes to adults &/ or young people (includes developing drug & alcohol policies for an organisation)
• Local research on drug & alcohol issues
• Community drug initiatives
• Family Support Initiatives dealing with substance related issues

Due to past demand to support drug & alcohol-free events, funding similar initiatives may have to be limited by the appraisal committee.
