These workshops will delve into the powerful legacies of women who have shaped societies, challenged injustices, and inspired change. Through experiential and participatory learning techniques, participants will gain the tools to integrate these stories into their own teaching and facilitation practices.
This training will also critically examine why Ireland has one of the lowest proportions of female elected representatives in Europe. We will explore the systemic and cultural barriers that prevent women from entering politics, the impact of gender quotas and the role that adult and community education practitioners have in shaping a more equitable world.
